ASOS launches fully stocked shop on Facebook

ASOS, the online women’s clothing store, is set to become one of the first retailers to make their entire range available within the social network. The application, to launch at the end of January, will be one of the first to allow people to buy directly from a brand without leaving Facebook.

New iPhone 4 unveiled

The brand new iPhone 4, unveiled yesterday by Steve Jobs at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, is the “biggest leap” they have taken since the first generation iPhone. New features include a glass front and back with antenna built into the side, 5MP camera with LED flash and 5X digital zoom, front-facing camera and video-calling (Face Time). The phone also has a superior resolution of 326 ppi and at just 9.3mm thick, is the slimmest smartphone in the world. Running on the new iPhone OS 4, it will also enable Multitasking.

The iPad arrives in the UK

Unless you live in a cave you’ll almost certainly have heard of it. Some of you have already been lucky enough to use it, but today the iPad goes on sale in the UK. Brands who have got immediately involved include Sky, the FT (as we reported on here) and Marvel, who have leapt onto the bandwagon enabling comic book fans to download all of their favourite titles.
